Welcome to the MOWW Gaylord Dillingham website!
Since 1919, a group of retired and active military officers have lived according to the motto, "It is more noble to serve than to be served". We belong to the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW). MOWW is an orgaization whose founding resulted from a request by General John J. Pershing, who led the U.S. Expeditionary Force in Europe during WW I, that his officers continue to serve America after their active military service ended. The MOWW is focused on service to the community in pursuit of the purposes laid out in its preamble. We support enduring values that are above politics. We espouse patriotism, citizenship, and service to others. If you're interested in helping others, promoting patriotism, military science, and military professionalism, then this is the organization for you. Please contact us in advance to double check meeting times for the current week. To learn more aobut the Military Order of the World Wars visit www.militaryorder.net.
